Recipe: BLT Pasta

BLT Pasta Main Course  
   
INGREDIENTS DIRECTIONS     COOK TIME
       
1 package center cut bacon, crumbled Step 1:  Cook entire package of bacon extra crispy.  Place bacon on paper towels to remove grease.  Place bacon in Ziplock bag and crush.  
5 stalks green onion, diced  
1 lb. linguini pasta  
2 cups sliced cherry tomatoes Step 2:  In a large pot, bring water and salt to a boil and cook linguini.  While the pasta is cooking, slice tomatoes, dice onions and wash spinach leaves and set aside.   YIELD
1 tbsp red pepper flakes  
2 cups spinach leaves  
1 1/2 cups parmesan cheese Step 3:  In large pan, mix together tomatoes, onions, spinach, pepper flakes, and crushed bacon.  Cook on high for 3 min or until leaves are soft, then add cooked pasta, parmesan cheese and mix thoroughly.  
1 tbsp olive oil  
1/2 tsp kosher salt
